Quotes from doctors

“Thank you so much for the latest shipment of 7 Russian New Testaments. A few years ago, while walking through the ADA exhibition hall, we discovered your booth. What a wonderful surprise—and just what we needed. Diabetes in teenagers and now young adults in Russia has been one of our most rewarding projects. Some wonderful friendships made during these past 11 years. And being able to share the Lord with them (plus families) is a beautiful addition. Diabetes is our tool! Thanks again for your part.”
Sam & Sandra, M.D. & wife, Medical liaisons to Russia

“To my Brothers & Sisters in Christ, Thank you for audio tapes of the Bible. Grandmother suffers from dementia & just last night my mother said that she had to take her Bible away as my Grandmother had placed a wet napkin between the pages of her Bible. I know that the familiar Scripture verses will be soothing to her soul as she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. I plan to share the information you sent with the local Alzheimer’s support group & my church so don’t be surprised if you start getting requests from Temple, TX. God bless you for providing such a wonderful ministry.”
Leigh, Ph.D., Temple, TX, USA

I recently received the Telugu Tapes I had inquired about and simply wanted to thank Aurora Ministries for it's generosity. Our thoughts are with you and yours always but especially post-Hurricane Charley, Frances, and Ivan.

Thank you for the sets of the Bible cassettes you sent me. I am going to give the Czech cassetes to lady hard visual impairments. She is a widow, a retired doctor, and I hope she will be very pleased by them.

“In October 2002 I happened by your booth at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting and my interest was peaked. You subsequently sent me a sample set of your New Testament cassettes and a display advertising your ministry to place in our waiting room.
Since then the Lord has gifted me with numerous opportunities to offer your services to my visually impaired patients. Thank you for the work you are doing on His behalf and the fruit you are bearing for these challenged people.
I share with you the following story to encourage you and to have you behold the mighty hand of our providential God:
Mrs. W is visually impaired and had been to my office for a routine exam. After her departure I realized I had neglected to tell her about Aurora, but went on to fill out the necessary paperwork and submit it for her. When she came in for her follow-up she relayed the rest of the story…
It seems Mrs. W’s church has a 24 hour prayer ministry and they have had some difficulty enticing folks to sign up for the wee hours of the morning. She felt called to offer her services and was excited about the prospect of this new job. As she readied herself for this task, she realized she would not be able to do what was asked, which was to read portions of a particular prayer book. Imagine her disappointment! So she prayed the Lord would allow her some way to ponder on His Word, to still be equipped to do this important work in her church.
As she was riding up to her home this same week, she and her husband noticed a delivery box at their door. Neither knew of any orders they had placed and suspiciously thought they should send this “thing” back and refuse to pay for its contents. Instead, Mr. W encouraged his wife to open it first.
Surely you can guess the ending…Mrs. W found tucked inside the box your Bible tapes and therein God’s specific answer to her prayer. You and I both got to be a part of His plan without clue or warning. As she shared the story, we beheld together the beautifully intricate tapestry the Lord wove amongst us. I wanted you to see it as well. May the Lord continue to bless you all.”
